Custom Reports Available
Several types of inspections are available, including a variety of specialty reports
designed to target specific areas of concern. Click the links below to view a description of
each inspection.
Our standard Survey B covers construction type, age, occupancy,
condition, fire station information, proximity to water and
hazards. Included with the "Survey B" is a diagram of the risk
and cost replacement. Typed comments are included to further
enhance and clarify the information provided. Two photos are
included with this type of inspection. This is an exterior-only
inspection for homes valued under $350,000.
Survey A contains everything in Survey B with the exception of the diagram and
cost replacement.
The Mobile/Manufactured Home Survey includes pertinent information needed to rate
this type of construction. Included in this report is information on tie-downs, support,
skirting and location (whether located in a park with onsite management or on private land).
This inspection is geared to the specific needs of a tenant-occupied
dwelling and includes information on construction, occupancy,
condition, fire information, firewalls, stories and hazards.
Diagram and cost replacement are not included in this type of
inspection.
Our High Value Inspection is an in-depth look at the exterior and
interior of the risk and includes a type narrative. This type
of inspection covers many of the interior upgrades that would
be missed doing an exterior inspection and is generally ordered
for dwellings valued at over $350,000. A letter is sent to your
policy holder to notify them that an inspector from Insurance
Risk Services will be contacting them to arrange an appointment.
All information included in the "Survey B" is included and expanded
upon. Specific questions are addressed during the interview
dealing with occupancy, domestic employees, businesses operated
from the residence, security gates and hours manned. A minimum
of six photos are included: two outside pictures and four interior
pictures. Often many more pictures are provided to document
all custom building techniques and additional upgrades.
Additional information on specific areas of concern are covered in our supplemental
report. The Electrical, Heating, Plumbing, and Roof Report targets each area in
depth. Addressing such questions as fuses, circuit breakers, loose wiring around
the exterior, type of heating used, type of plumbing, and any updates, if an interview
is available with the customer. Roof type and condition are also noted. All information
is included on one easy-to-follow form.
When needed we will custom design an inspection form to suit your needs. Custom
inspections can also be arranged to fit your underwriting requirements. Please discuss
any specific needs you may have with Mr. Hawkins.
